Studentaid.gov is the home of student financial assistance programs provided by the Department of Education. The office of Federal Student Aid provides approximately $112 billion in grants, work-study, and loan funds each year to help pay for college or career school. Here you will find help for every stage of the process, whether you are in or out of school.

The New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) has been helping NH families plan for and pay for higher education for over 60 years.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation  awards almost $8 million in scholarship money annually to NH residents who are students for certificates, licensing programs, apprenticeships, two- and four-year degree programs and graduate school.

In addition to their test prep, CollegeBoard.Org also has a database of over 24,000 scholarships to search through.

Access Scholarships has a list of scholarships for NH residents, and they have their own scholarship as well. They also link to nationally available scholarships; scroll to the bottom of this page and find all sorts of lists for various types you can apply for. Don't miss the “Weird Scholarships” page, which includes ones for unique things like creating your own prom outfit out of Duck Tape, or describing your personality as an ice cream flavor. Yes, you can get money for that!

FastWeb.com has been connecting students with scholarships for 30 years. You can create a profile and have scholarships recommended for you, so you don't have to do all the searching yourself.
