The City's annual 4th of July Celebration will take place on Sunday, July 4, at Memorial Field. A limited number of food vendors will open at 6 p.m. At 7:45 p.m., the Nevers' Band will perform, followed by an Atlas Fireworks display at approximately 9:20 p.m. Bring your family, a blanket or chairs, and enjoy the music until the fireworks begin. Rain date: Monday, July 5.
Stay alert for traffic pattern changes for this event. Starting at approximately 3:30 p.m., S. Fruit Street will be reduced to one-way travel northbound only between Clinton St. and Pleasant St.,
Parking in the Memorial Field parking lot will be restricted to handicapped parking ONLY. Emergency no parking signs will be placed on the west side of Minot Street and both sides of Langley Parkway from Clinton St. to Pleasant St.
For meetings held in the City Council Chambers, any person who is unable to access the upper level of the Council Chambers to address the City Council or any other public body may use the podium and/or microphone located at the lower level of the Council Chambers. Other reasonable accommodations may be available upon request.
