While it is not possible to apply for a position that is not currently listed, you are able to indicate an interest in a particular position or type of position by utilizing our new "Job Interest Card" within the online application system.

When you utilize our online application system, you are required to set up an account and a profile. This profile stores all of your basic information like name, address, education and employment history. When a position of interest becomes available, you can log in to your profile and just indicate the position you are interested in. All of your information will already be entered and all you may have to do is answer some job specific questions to complete the application process.

Typically, once a job closes, the reviewing team will begin to review the applications that came in for that position. Ideally, it should take anywhere between 2 - 4 weeks. However, some positions generate more responses than others and due to that, may take a little bit longer to review. You will be notified either way whether or not you've been selected to come in and further discuss your qualifications.

Depends. The application instructions are clearly indicated within each job advertisement. However, most of our positions will require that a city application be completed online.

This would indicate that the position's deadline has passed and it is closed for applications. Each advertisement will indicate a specific closing, or deadline, date with which must be strictly adhered to.
