Virtual Film Screening -The Merrimack: River at Risk
Wednesday, October 13, 2021
The Merrimack River: it's right in our back yard, but did you know that it is also one of the country's most threatened watersheds? The Society for the Protection of N.H. Forests teamed up with conservation photographer and filmmaker Jerry Monkman to explore the central role the Merrimack plays in the past, present and future of our region.
In The Merrimack: River at Risk, learn why the Merrimack River is under threat, and what we can do about it. This is a project over three years in the making, filmed on location in and beyond Concord. The virtual screening will be followed by a Q&A with Dave Anderson, Senior Director of Education at the Society for the Protection of N.H. Forests.
Pre-registration is required, in order to receive the Zoom link for this presentation.
