The City of Concord has been a promotional partner of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense Program since March 2014. Our partnership goal is to help consumers save water for future generations, reduce energy consumption, and reduce costs on their utility bills. WaterSense pursues to protect our water supply by offering everyone solutions on how to use less water with water-efficient products, homes, and services.
Promoting the value of water efficiency is one of the top responsibilities of WaterSense, in coordination with providing tips on how to best conserve water and reduce depletion of water resources. Products that have earned the WaterSense label have been certified to be at least 20 percent more efficient without sacrificing performance and to save the user money in the long-run on water costs.
