CIP19 - Loudon Road Corridor Improvements Construction
August 18, 2017 Update:
Work will continue next week with daytime curbing, sidewalk, and driveway modifications. Temporary lane closures will result in limited traffic delays throughout the workday. While Loudon Road feels quite smooth following base pavement and shimming, final wearing course paving remains to be completed after the curb, sidewalk and driveway modifications are finished.

August 11, 2017 Update:
Sunday night, 08/13 through Thursday night, 08/17, crews will mill and pave the curbside lanes. The entire roadway will be shimmed by the end of the week in anticipation of daytime work starting the week of 08/21. Traffic delays are expected.

August 4, 2017 Update:
Overnight pavement improvements are expected to continue through the week of August 7th. Expect pavement milling and filling along the curb side lane from the eastern limits of the project (D’Amante Drive end) to East Side Drive. Traffic delays are expected during the work.

July 28, 2017 Update:
On Wednesday night, August 2nd, The City’s contractor, Pike Industries, will be milling the pavement on Loudon Road, from #249 Loudon Road (Stove Barn) to #204 Loudon Road (Goodwill). On Thursday night, they will mill the pavement from Goodwill to East Side Drive. Work hours will be from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Traffic delays are expected.

July 19, 2017 Update:

Please be advised that construction on Loudon Road is scheduled to begin on the evening of Sunday, July 23rd and continue through September 1st (weather permitting).

Pavement improvements along Loudon Road between Hazen Drive and D’Amante Drive include alternating day-time/night-time construction.  Major paving operations will be completed overnight typically between the hours of 7PM to 5AM, while curbing and sidewalk improvements will be completed during day-time work hours typically between the hours of 7AM and 5 PM.  Traffic delays will be expected during the work.

Pike Industries, Inc. has been awarded the project.  Concord’s Engineering Services Division will manage the project on site.  Any questions or comments related to the project should be forwarded to:
