  2. Imagine A Day Without Water - Open House

    October 12, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Out of sight and out of mind is a massive network underground of water systems that work 24/7 to distribute water to and from homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. October 12, 2017 is the third annual “Imagine A Day Without Water” promotion led by the Value of Water Campaign. The campaign raises awareness about the importance of water in our daily lives and imagining what even a single day without access to water would mean for a community. Participate by joining Concord General Services for an Open House on Thursday, October 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at their Water Treatment Facility (53 Hutchins Street) and/or Wastewater Treatment Facility (125 Hall Street). Social media users are encouraged to share why they value water (be sure to include #ValueWater) on Concord General Services’ Facebook and Twitter pages @ConcordNHGS. If we all remember the value of water and continue to invest in infrastructure, wed won’t have to imagine a day without water.
