Free to Concord Residents

The Recycle Center is located in the Transfer Station on Old Turnpike Road. For questions call the Transfer Station at 224-0890.

The Recycle Center accepts the following recyclable items:

Plastics (numbers 1-7), but no plastic bags or Styrofoam
Glass (all colors)
Tin and aluminum
Newspapers
Corrugated cardboard
Mixed paper

Mixed paper items include junk mail, construction paper, binder paper, computer paper, brown Kraft bags (grocery bags), telephone books, manila folders, legal pad backings, tissue and paper towel rolls, cereal & dry food boxes, envelopes, postcards, magazines, catalogs, colored ledger paper, paperboard, shoe boxes, tissue boxes, paper egg cartons, etc.

Concord residents may also bring in the following motor vehicle waste items. Proof of residency is required:

       Tires
        Motor oil
        Car batteries
        Antifreeze

Packaging Tips:

Bundle newspapers with cords or place them inside paper bags.
Rinse out cans and containers. Remove caps, leave the labels.
Remove all food residue from aluminum foil.
Place mixed paper inside paper bags.
Put motor oil and antifreeze in disposable 1 gallon containers.
Tires with rims are ok.
Stack the corrugated cardboard in the marked container.
