The purple Concord Pay-As-You-Throw bags are available for sale throughout Concord.

If you set your trash out for curbside collection you will need to purchase purple PAYT bags. If you do not use a purple PAYT bag, the trash hauler will place a sticker on the non-conforming bag/trash item (which won’t be picked up) informing you that trash must be in a Concord authorized purple PAYT bag.

The purple PAYT bags are used the same way you use any other trash bag. In a PAYT program, there is no need to re-bag. Bags can also be placed inside a 30 gallon barrel, to help keep animals out of the purple bags.

There will NOT be a limit on how many purple PAYT bags you put out each week for curbside collection. The PAYT bag program is designed to offset the cost of trash collection and disposal. Each residence controls how much they spend for their own trash service -Recycle & Save!

All locations listed below, will offer both sizes of the purple PAYT bags (30 gal/holds 20lbs & 15 gal/holds 10lbs). The 30 gallon bag is $2 per bag and the 15 gallon bag is $1 per bag.
