Are my donations tax-deductible?: Yes. Library staff can provide you with a form, stating the number of items donated. If you would like a form, please speak with someone at the Service Desk when you drop off your donations.

1. What items can I donate to the library?

CPL is glad to accept most materials that are clean and in good condition. However, we CANNOT accept the following items:

Textbooks
encyclopedias
travel guidebooks which are over 5 years old
health/medical books which are over 5 years old
magazines
Readers’ Digest Condensed Books
series romance paperbacks (such as Harlequin and Silhouette)
phonograph records
items that have developed an odor
VHS or videocassette tapes
cassette tapes (music or audiobook)

Due to our space restrictions we are only able to accept 3 boxes or bags at a time. Thank you for considering donating!
