The Concord Police Department hosted National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Rollins Park from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The date for 2018 is August 7.
This event is for all ages and is held across the country to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood and community police relationships and to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back on crime.
This year’s family friendly festivities will include food, contests, prizes, K9 demonstrations, the Touch-A-Truck Program, a zoo exhibit, a Black Hawk helicopter, and much more! Numerous businesses from around the community will be set up in booths to make people aware of the services they have available. There will also be free shuttle service from Rundlett Middle School to Rollins Park!
Mark your calendar for National Night Out on the first Tuesday in August.
