The Code Administration Office assists the public through the process of, and is responsible for, the administration of zoning, building, housing, licensing, and health regulations. The division also coordinates appeals to the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Building Board of Appeals, and the Demolition Review Committee.
Due to the Government’s response to COVID-19, we are taking efforts to protect the health of the public and City employees.
Please be advised that the City of Concord Code Administration is OPEN and still accepting and processing Building Permits as well as trades applications and we are performing site inspections for unoccupied locations. We do not anticipate any issue with meeting the time frame provided in RSA 676:13, III as contemplated in the Governor Sununu’s Emergency Order No. 23 at Section 6(c). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office at 225-8580. If your call goes unanswered, please leave a voice mail and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Your business is very important to us, and we are keeping the process going.
Please note that for habitable buildings, we are either on site or by FaceTime, Google Duo or other video phone calls. We are communicating via mail, phone and email.
Our counter is open to the public, but any visitor to our office is required to wear a face covering. Also most forms are available at our City of Concord website.
